βœ…

One tap, one click, or reply YES. Takes two seconds.

Why CheckUpOnMe is essential

Millions of people live alone, work remotely, or have health conditions that put them at risk. One unanswered check-in can make all the difference.

πŸ§“

Living alone

Falls, medical events, and strokes most often happen at home. With no one to notice a missed morning, hours can pass before anyone realizes something is wrong.

πŸ•οΈ

Adventurers & remote workers

Hiking solo, working from a cabin, or travelling for work? If something goes wrong in a remote location, your loved ones need to know fast.

❀️

Chronic health conditions

Diabetes, heart disease, epilepsy β€” conditions that can cause sudden incapacitation deserve a safety net that checks on you every single day.

🏠

Elderly parents

Give your aging parent independence while giving yourself peace of mind. You'll be notified the moment a check-in is missed β€” no daily phone calls required.

🌍

International travel

Different time zones mean your family can't always call to check in. CheckUpOnMe bridges the gap automatically, no matter where you are.

🀝

Caregiver coordination

Alert the right people in the right order β€” family first, then neighbors, then medical contacts. No one person has to carry the burden alone.

Important notice: CheckUpOnMe is not an emergency response service and is not a substitute for calling 911 or other emergency services. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number immediately. This service notifies your designated contacts only β€” it does not dispatch emergency responders. Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about how CheckUpOnMe works.

CheckUpOnMe is an automated wellness check-in service. We send you a regular message (email or SMS) asking if you're OK. If you don't respond within your configured window, we automatically alert your chosen emergency contacts so they can reach out to you.

No. CheckUpOnMe is not an emergency response service and is not a substitute for calling 911 or other emergency services. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number right away. CheckUpOnMe alerts your personal contacts β€” it does not dispatch paramedics, police, or any other responders.

You choose your emergency contacts β€” family members, friends, neighbours, or anyone you trust. You can add up to 5 contacts and set the order in which they are alerted. Contacts receive a clear, calm notification asking them to check on you; they are not sent alarming messages.

It's as simple as one click. When you receive a check-in notification, you tap or click the "I'm OK" button. That's it β€” no app to open, no login required. You can also reply "YES" to an SMS. The whole thing takes two seconds.

Use Vacation Pause mode. Log in, set a pause window (start and end date), and we won't send any check-ins during that time. Your emergency contacts won't receive any alerts while the pause is active.

You control the schedule. You can choose a daily check-in at a time that suits you, or every 12 hours if you prefer more frequent confirmation. You can change or pause your schedule at any time from your dashboard.

Email and SMS text message. You can use one or both β€” for example, email as primary and SMS as a backup.

Your account and check-in history is retained for 30 days after cancellation in case you change your mind. After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted. We do not sell your personal information.
